Glock 43 Generation Differences

With a little more time with the Glock 43x, we brought in our friend and “The Armorers Fix” certified Glock Armorer Kyle Brashler to give CrossBreed fans an exclusive and detailed breakdown of the new Glock firearms.

Dw Cco Vs Glock 43...still Deciding

The extended height allows for another advantage over the Glock 43: room for more rounds. While the Glock 43 comes with a 6-round flash magazine, the 43x includes an additional 4 rounds to bring the number of new players up to 10 rounds with an unloaded magazine. When it comes to magazine capacity, bigger is almost always better, and the 43x certainly comes with 4 extra rounds.

You can always add an extended slide and/or magazine extension to your Glock 43 as there are many options on the market today. From Pierce Grips to Shield Arms, you're only limited by your budget.

Not only does the Glock 43x have an nPVD finish compared to the standard nDLC Gen5 finish found on the Glock 43, but not just the front lugs.

The solution is nPVD but it looks good!

Glock is a step behind the concealed carry market for better or worse. In this Glock G43x review we cover all the details of this weapon.

Glock 43 Review

If you are looking for a full Glock 43X MOS review, we have that on our blog as well.

The bad news is that it may take time for them to produce a small 9mm stack to compete with all the other manufacturers on the market. The good news is that they take time, and when it comes to making new weapons, they always seem to work.

The glock43 has been critically acclaimed and has become one of Glock's most popular pistols. 43 was the first single-stack 9mm subcompact pistol produced by Glock. The Glock 43 was an instant winner in the concealed carry market and has now sold over a million different models.

Glock 43 Generation Differences

The Glock 43X is the newest of the Glock family, and it's somewhat rare. For the X series, one must go back to the 19X, a weapon introduced in the Army's New Weapons Program. The 19X lost, but became a popular weapon with over 100,000 sold within a year. Due to the rave reviews of the Glock g43, the Glock 43 has now sold over a million pistols.

How Many Rounds Does A Glock Hold?

Put the two together and we get the new Glock 43X. The G19X is a compact Glock 19 slide in a full size Glock 17 frame. The Glock 43X uses the same slide and barrel as the G43, but with an extended frame that offers a full-length grip.

Both guns are compact, both 9mm and both Glocks, so which gun is better? Most importantly, which one is best for you?

The size of the Glock 43 makes it a cute mini Glock. It's pretty much the same style as any other Glock, just scaled down. It is shorter and thinner than other Glock 9mm. It is completely devoid of finger grooves and only has ridges on the back. Glock rifles are best described as Spartan. They are simple but effective in appearance. The frame is polymer, of course, and the slide is all black, Glock 43 black nitride coated.

The black nitride finish is proven to be extremely strong and extremely durable. Glock pistols are used by police and military forces around the world, and you won't hear any complaints about the finish. It eliminates wear and has good resistance to corrosion and general rusting.

Is My G43 A Gen 4 Or 5?

Although the finish is rough and slick, it works. This is a great finish for a gun that will probably stick to your body and stay in the holster for most of its life.

The Glock 43X has gone in a completely different direction, and you're looking at something that's a good deal different than the size of the Glock 43. The G43X uses an nPVD coating that is proven to be strong, durable and corrosion resistant.

The most important difference is that the PVD finish is silver and gives the gun a distinct look. This sets it apart from the standard black Glock. Also, the G43X has forward serrations that are not available in standard Glock 43 sizes.

Glock 43 Generation Differences

If I had to pick a gun based on fit, it would be the 43X Glock. I'm a fan of the stainless look and this new gun looks great. The finish is also solid and gives it a unique look in the world of Glocks.

Glock 43x Mos

The Glock 48 is another Glock that looks and feels like the Glock 43X; it's just a touch bigger. We also have a full Glock 48 vs. Glock 43X comparison on our blog.

Although these tools are very similar and even share a model number, they are very different. The G43X is larger compared to the G43 and this is due to the increased length of the grip. The G43X is 5.04 inches tall and the G43 is a shorter 4.25 inches.

This gives you more grip with the G43X and more capacity than the G43. Glovk 43x holds ten rounds plus 1 tube. The G43 holds six rounds with one in the tube.

A shorter grip also makes the gun easier to conceal, giving you an advantage when you're smaller or wearing lighter clothing. As for weight, surprisingly, the G43X is barely heavy, and I mean a fraction of an ounce. The G43X is 18 ounces and the Glock G43 is 17.99 ounces unloaded. After loading, we see a much larger difference between 10 and six rounds.

Db9 Gen 4 Vs Gen 3 Side By Side Comparison

The G43X weighs 23.07 ounces loaded and the 43 weighs 20.64 ounces. An interesting difference is the width of the G43X compared to the width of the Glock 43. It's 0.04 inches thicker than the G43. It's a weird addition, but it's there.

The G43 and G43X are still small guns with the G43 having a barrel length of 3.41 inches, while the Glock x43 has an overall length of 6.5 inches. The overall length of the Glock 43 is 6.26 inches.

The G43's compact design and lighter weight make it more appealing to those struggling to carry a larger gun. Could also be a micro nine pocket pistol. The G43X is perfect for those who like easy-to-shoot guns. We cover all of this in our Glock G43 review.

Glock 43 Generation Differences

Picking one out of the box would lead many to say that the G43X is better in the ergonomics department. Its longer handle fills your hand and prevents your little finger from getting caught on the end of the handle.

What Gen Is My Glock

In this respect the Sig P365XL is very similar. Although it's a very thin grip, it's still big enough to give you a full grip. You can find a Sig P365XL vs Glock 43X comparison on our blog.
